Hello. Sorry for the long delay in between updates. A lot has happened in the past few weeks, and while I can't say I'm saddened by what's been happening (quite the opposite's been happening actually), it's also made it much harder for me to think of anything else. Anyway, when the time is right I'll discuss what happened for now, I'll just report on the basics of what's been happening to me lately:
1) I'm now officially on Christmas vacation. It only lasts until the 3rd of january, and I do have papers to check, but for now, I'm happy.
2) Finished my very first Master Grade Gundam model. Boy was it hard. The sucker had 250 parts at the very least (I lost count). I'm glad since it's my prettiest and most poseable model by far. It's a model of the RX-78-2 Gundam painted in Char Aznable's red color scheme.
3) Bought my sister and mother Christmas gifts. They both got stuffed dogs.
4) Had a little Xmas Reunion with Jf and Carla. Went very well, even if Jf was obviously sleepy.
5) Met with Randell and Gene. They're still as fun as ever.
6) Went on a Pesto eating binge. I've been sampling numerous kinds of pesto for the past week. Mmmmm... pesto....
7) Went Xmas shopping with my sis. She told me it was a bribe. I don't know what the hell that means. I love my sis.
8) Been creating custom Charcters in Soul Calibur 3. So far, I've made all the following characters at one time or the other:
-ChaCha (Akazukin ChaCha). Imagine a cute witch with a red hood using the Soul Edge. That was fun.
-Yakko (Akazukin ChaCha). Basically a color edit of Chacha. Also used Soul Edge.
-Magical Princess (Akazukin ChaCha). She turned out better than ChaCha and Yakko. The general height and physique of created characters in the game perfectly matched her original design.
-Valkyrie (Legend of Valkyrie). Besides a few improvised parts here and there, she looks like her videogame counterpart. I still have no idea where to get the right shoulderpads and armbands.
-Haman Karn (Mobile Suit Gundam Z and ZZ). The face is more or less right, buyt there's no way to get the hair exactly the same.
-The Hero (Quest for Glory). Surprisingly easy to make. After all, all he wears is a leather tunic, green pants, black boots, a black belt, and a red cape. All games with character creation have those items.
-Hiroyuki Sakai (Iron Chef). I enjoyed making this guy. The end product really looked like Sakai.
Characters I've been dying to make:
-Goldar (Power Rangers)
-Rita Repulsa (Power Rangers)
-Char Aznable (Mobile Suit Gundam)
-Artesia (Mobile Suit Gundam)
-Juste Belmont (Castlevania)
-Simon Belmont (Castlevania)
-Richter Belmont (Castlevania)
...and a lot more. The list goes on and on.
